If your book has a special appeal for Texas readers—whether individuals, librarians, or resellers—Lone Star Literary Life’s robust review coverage can help steer them to it.

Informative, engaging professional reviews of Texas-related books constitute the heart of our publication. We strive to cover the most important and widely appealing new titles in the Lone Star State as close as possible to publication date.

Publishers of any size and location are welcome to submit new Texas-related titles for consideration in Lone Star Reviews, according to our guidelines. (If you’re unsure whether a title is a good fit for us, feel free to inquire first.) If we assign your book to one of our staff editors, we’ll give you a heads-up regarding the date its review will run.

Space and resource limitations do prevent us from covering every qualifying title in our focus section. If your Texas book fits our scope but is not selected for coverage (is your book on a specialized topic? genre fiction? some months past publication?), consider a sponsored review Lone Star Sponsored Reviews.

For only $249 ($279 for nonfiction), our qualified reviewers will provide an approximately 500-word review, with a full evaluation and quotable tagline, within 4 weeks of submission. And if for any reason the resulting review doesn’t fit with your marketing plans, you’ll have the opportunity to opt out of publication in advance, while still gaining valuable insights regarding your book.
