Delia Owens to sign “Where the Crawdads Sing” April 30

"Our vision of Lark & Owl is a place for people to gather for community, conversation, and books."

Lark & Owl Booksellers opened April 23 at 205 W. Sixth Street, Suite. 101, Georgetown, just in time for the Red Poppy Festival. The bookstore sells a large selection of new fiction and nonfiction titles as well as hand-selected retail items and a variety of quality paper goods.

The bookstore will host regular author appearances and other events. Delia Owens will be at Lark & Owl on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. to sign her New York Times bestselling novel, Where the Crawdads Sing. This event is sold out but the store will have signed copies available for purchase on Wednesday, May 1.

Lark and Owl Booksellers will be partnering with The Wright Brothers from Austin for their Bistro, which will offer coffee, snacks, soups, sandwiches, mocktails, handcrafted small-batch cocktails on draft, plus beer and wine. The Bistro will begin full service in May.

"Our vision of Lark & Owl is a place for people to gather for community, conversation, and books," according to the bookstore's website. "We hope to create a curated and well-crafted store where you can visit morning to night.”

The name of the store comes from the ten women owners who are half larks (morning people) and half owls (night people).
